Concrete Sand

Using sand helps to reduce the cost. It also limits the amount of shrinking to the concrete as it cures. Concrete sand is a fine aggregate that helps fill the voids between the coarse aggregate and is produced by being crushed at the quarry and then washed through a screen in order to make sure no large pieces of rocks are left. Concrete sand is crucial to use in concrete but the ratio of the coarse aggregate to sand to cement must be just right to produce a strong, resilient concrete mix.
